Convertible

Convert,
Take a drive
Top down
In mountains.
Radio loud
Songs echo
Off granite
Walls of stone.

Convert,
Expose
Your soul
To every
Season
Sun and ice.
Spring forward.
Fall back.

Convert,
Change state.
Water flows
In One
Direction;
Breathe,
Your vapor
Rises.

  1. Ha, I like the mood of this poem. I love the feeling of driving with music playing LOUD. Would be cool to do this in mountains (which I am NOT near).

Last stanza...your vapor rises. Indeed, there is 'conversion' happening inside one's body all the time for sure.

    Enjoyed this, Libby.
