Fractal Geometry

Look at fractals' forever
Deep edges delving
Into layer upon layer and see
Nature shrink to infinity
And give birth to a star.
Then with the speed of light
You must return to the other side of your brain, but you
Will not remember anything unless you
Understand that love holds all secrets of the universe.
Everything creeping, crawling, swimming, walking, flying, climbing,
                                                                        falling,
                  seeding,
                  rooting,
                  reaching, searching,
                  thirsting, hungry,
                  grinding,
                  growing,
                  collecting sediment is so much

Better than a new t. v. and a
     Baby Einstein video.

  1. For Poets United,

In loving memory of Albert Einstein who said, "Look deep into nature and then you will understand everything better."

  3. Einstein, like you, nurtured awe -- he loved the complexity of things. And from all reports, he was a very loving dude. I don't think he would have said "love" was behind or above nature. Love is what we do! IMHO (perhaps you feel the same)

    Very fun poem. Thanx

    1. Your humble opinion is welcome here. And you are right. Love is a verb.

    1. Yes, I enjoyed the videos, too. Just feeling guilty about them being the back-up babysitter. Ah, but those days are past.

    1. Kindred spirit, you are welcome at my fire anytime. I changed my template after reading other blogs with the same one. It was distracting me from their poetry. Now I can read their poetry in peace.

    1. Hey, I recognize you. Lithium and mudpies. You're the one who knows there is a song for everything. I think "Lithium" would work with my poem, too. One of the elemental Big-Bangers -- that and Einstein was bipolar.
